May 2012 Cashback Offer - Terms & Conditions

What you need to do to join for this offer:

The policy MUST be arranged through Protected.co.uk.

The offer is available on apply online Life Insurance policies or apply online Life and Critical Illness policies only.

You MUST have applied online and completed the full application form on our website, before the close of business on 31/05/2012.

You agree to accept the terms offered from the insurer for the policy and confirm that the policy will start before the close of business on 15/09/2012.

In order for the insurer to review your risk and application they will have to ask medical and lifestyle questions and review the answers to those questions. If necessary they may ask for a report from your doctor. Please leave sufficient time for this process to complete between the time you apply and the close of business on 15/09/2012. We will help to assist you through this process.

When completing the full online application form on our website, a tick box will appear during the application pages. Please leave this box ticked if you wish to take up this offer. By ticking the box you will be agreeing to these terms and conditions. You will only be able to qualify to take up this offer once. By not taking up the offer your right to apply for a life insurance policy or life insurance and critical illness policy online through protected.co.uk is not affected.

To qualify for the first payment:

You MUST have paid and the insurer MUST receive and have accepted the first 12 month's consecutive premiums.

The policy MUST be arranged through Protected.co.uk.

After the insurer has received and accepted consecutive payment number 12 we will post you a cheque to your address on our system, within 10 working days. Please allow time for delivery. The cheque will be equal to 5% of the commission that we have received from the insurer when you took out your policy, up to the maximum of £200.00.

To qualify for the second payment:

You MUST have paid and the insurer MUST receive and have accepted the next 12 month's consecutive premiums. This means since the policy has started you will have made a total of 24 months consecutive premiums.

The policy MUST be arranged through Protected.co.uk.

After the insurer has received and accepted consecutive payment number 24 we will post you a cheque to your address on our system, within 10 working days. Please allow time for delivery. The cheque will be equal to 10% of the commission that we have received from the insurer when you took out your policy, up to the maximum of £400.00.

General offer Conditions:

Under this offer, the maximum total payment when payment 1 and payment 2 are added together will not exceed £600.00.

The cashback amount that is stated on the search results page on the protected.co.uk website is the equivalent to 15% of the commission that we expect to receive from the insurer when the policy is taken out, if you are accepted at standard terms. This 15% represents payment 1 and payment 2 added together. If the insurer rates the premium upwards and that increases our commission, we will adjust the cashback accordingly, subject always to the maximum amount.

We reserve the right to remove the "Up to £600.00 cashback" offer at any time, provided you have not already committed to a policy.

This does not affect your right to be eligible for the price match guarantee stated on emails or the protected.co.uk website. If this price match is achieved by a commission reduction, we will adjust the cashback amount accordingly.

No cash or voucher alternative will be offered.

Due to the nature of insurance, we cannot guarantee that the insurer will offer terms or terms that are acceptable to you.
